Holy Basil (Tulsi) is a sacred herb in Ayurvedic tradition, prized for its peppery, clove-like aroma and use in teas and tonics as much as in cooking. More cold-sensitive than culinary basils, it rewards Austin’s long hot summer with vigorous, bushy growth.
At Flying Rabbit Farm, our Holy Tulsi transplants are grown for strong aromatic oil content and reliable establishment in Austin’s heat.
